These no-bake energy balls are the perfect healthy snack! Made with oats, dates, and nut butter, they’re customizable, portable, and packed with nutrients.
Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup Medjool dates (pitted)
- 1/4 cup almond butter (or any nut/seed butter)
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse the dates until a sticky paste forms.
- Add remaining ingredients and blend until combined.
- Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls.
- Chill in the fridge for 20–30 minutes to set.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
Notes
Substitute nut butter with sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version.
Add protein powder to boost the protein content.
Keep refrigerated for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
